About Dragonfly
Dragonfly Investments was founded in 2013 by Jason Morjain and Irving Weisselberger as a private, well-capitalized real estate investment group based in Miami, Florida. The firm executes an opportunistic strategy — focused on distressed, deep value-add, and contrarian investing — across retail, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, and real estate debt.
We are self-funded and independent from institutional mandates. That independence — combined with in-house underwriting, legal, and asset management — means we can move decisively when the right opportunity appears.
From grocery-anchored shopping centers to Class A industrial development and affordable housing, we build a portfolio that endures across cycles.
We invest where the complexity lives — distressed debt, adaptive reuse, workforce housing, mezzanine positions. And we invest our own capital alongside a carefully selected group of investors who share our time horizon and conviction.
How We Invest
Four strategy groups, eight asset classes, and the flexibility to deploy capital where the risk-adjusted return lives. Our vertical integration lets us move quickly on complex transactions others can't close.

Our Approach
Self-funded, vertically integrated, and independent from institutional mandates. We underwrite every deal on our own terms and act when we have conviction.
We close on our timeline, not a committee's. In-house underwriting, legal, and asset management mean we move when conviction strikes.
Distressed debt, adaptive reuse, workforce housing, mezzanine positions — we underwrite the deals where complexity is where the value lives.
Conservative assumptions, stress-tested underwriting, and a dedicated investor portal. Investors see what we see — in real time.
Our Footprint
Dragonfly's portfolio spans the East Coast, Southeast, and selective Midwest markets. We invest where we can underwrite with local insight — and walk the property ourselves before capital moves.
